New paper published: Reliability and agreement of hip morphology measurements

We are happy to share that our research on the reliability and agreement of manual and automated morphological radiographic hip measurements is published in Osteoarthritis and Cartilage Open.

In this study, we validated an open-access, automated pipeline to determine 8 different morphological measurements on AP hip radiographs from the World COACH consortium. Based on landmarks outlining the acetabulum and proximal femur the acetabular depth-width ratio, modified acetabular index, alpha angle, Wiberg and lateral center edge angle, extrusion index, neck-shaft angle and triangular index ratio can be automatically determined. This automated, validated method allows us to compute morphological measurements fast and reliably for all World COACH imaging.
